$60.00

Sunday, May 24, 2026
1-3pm

Join us for a fun, beginner-friendly sewing workshop designed for anyone who has a sewing machine and is ready to make their first project. We'll guide you through the process of reading a pattern, cutting your fabric, and sewing your own pillowcase from start to finish, with plenty of support along the way. The small group class format allows for 1:1 assistance from the teacher through each step.

You'll leave with 1 or 2 finished pillowcases and the confidence to tackle your next sewing project at home.

Students provide their own materials and sewing machine. Experience with threading and basic sewing machine operation required.

Workshop Fee: $60

Bring your own materials/equipment for 2 pillowcases as follows:

-Sewing machine with extra needle

-Thread

-1.5 yard (54”) main fabric

-1/2 yard (18”) cuff fabric

-1/8 yard (4.5”) trim fabric

-Rotary cutter and mat (we will also have some on hand to borrow)

-Pins (we will also have some on hand to borrow)

Note: Irons and ironing boards will be provided. If you have any issues acquiring the materials and equipment above for class, reach out to Gretchen at hello@craftfolkcollective.com for assistance.
