Where are you located?

Craftfolk Collective is located at 38 N. Main Street in Colfax, CA. Craftfolk shares space with Snapdragon Provisions. You’ll enter through the rear entrance (through Depot Alley), which opens directly into our studio. If you arrive a few minutes early, feel free to settle in while we get set up.

Where do I park?

Street parking is available along Main Street and nearby side streets. Please give yourself a few extra minutes to park and get settled.

Are your workshops beginner friendly?

Yes. Most of our classes are designed for all skill levels and beginners are welcome. Teachers provide hands-on guidance at every step.

What should I bring?

Please bring a water bottle, apron, notebook and pen. Our space can be a bit drafty in the winter, so we highly recommend bringing a sweater or extra layer to ensure your comfort in cooler months.

Most workshops include a materials fee that covers all tools and supplies. Any exceptions will be clearly listed on the registration page.

Who teaches at Craftfolk?

Our workshops are led by regional artists, craftspeople, and tradition bearers who are skilled in their craft and experienced in teaching.

How do I sign up for classes?

Workshop registration is available on our website. You can also join our email list to be the first to hear when new classes open.

How many people will be in class?

Most workshops are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10-12 participants, so everyone has time for individual guidance and support. Some community events are designed to be more social and may accommodate larger groups.

Can I bring my child or teen?

Most classes are designed for adults, in support of lifelong learning in an intentionally focused environment. From time to time, we offer family-oriented community classes, and the age range will always be clearly noted in the class description. For most family-oriented classes, children ages 10–17 are welcome to attend alongside a registered, participating parent or guardian.

Do you offer private classes or group bookings?

We can accommodate small private groups for celebrations, team gatherings, or creative retreats. Please contact us for availability.

Is the space accessible?

Our studio is on the ground level and designed to be welcoming and accessible. If you have specific needs or questions, we are happy to help.

Can I teach at Craftfolk?

We welcome inquiries from teaching artists and craftspeople. If you are interested in teaching, please fill out our teacher inquiry form here.
