4/14 Painting with Tissue Paper on Glass

$60.00

Tuesday, April 14, 2026
6-8:30pm

Ever wish you had images or surfaces around your home that could be adapted to your mood, the seasons or your family’s interests? This class will show you how to make permanent or temporary luminous images on glass. This workshop will introduce you to the art of “painting” on glass with layers of torn or cut tissue paper, a dilution of glue and water and simple themes of color theory. One of the things Gail likes most about this craft is that it is easily adaptable to any glass surface and can be “erased” when one is ready for a new color scheme or image. In this 2.5 hour session Gail will first demonstrate and then guide the participants through their own creations.

Participants need to bring their own glass vase, jar, window (best if framed), mirror or lamp for the surface they will work upon (more than one object is fine). A work apron or dark clothes would also be helpful. All other materials will be provided.

Tuition: $45 | Materials: $15
